As promised last week, periodically we will introduce you to some of the students we have supported so far. Last week we met marvellous Maudy and this week we will hear from Lichwed (on the left in the photo) and Elton. It is great to hear their testimony about how DOTZ has helped to relieve some of the pressure on these young people. Medical School is challenging enough without constant financial worries.
Lichwed (Fourth Year Medical Student at the University of Harare): "I'm a proud and forever grateful beneficiary of the DOTZ grant and would like to express my wholehearted appreciation to every hand that helped me realize my dream of going ahead with my education. Without this priceless opportunity, I would probably be out of school now. Thanks to Doctors Of Tomorrow in Zimbabwe I can give medical school my undivided attention and focus on my studies as I no longer have fees issues to worry about...I hope that the wide smile I'm wearing in the photo will not only be limited to me but be spread to other students in need. We all want to see a lively tomorrow for Zimbabwe."
Elton (Fourth Year Medical Student at the University of Harare): "I am honoured to be one of the recipients of the DOTZ scholarship.I would love to thank them for their generous support...The scholarship has helped me with tuition fees and accommodation It has reduced my financial burden which allows me to focus on my schoolwork and not worry so much about how I am going to pay for my school fees.
I am motivated that one day I will also be able to help struggling students reach their goals in higher education by assisting them in the same way that the DOTZ fund has helped me."

A very huge thanks to DOTZ for being a light in the darkness. Indeed life has different meaning you on our side. It just remains for us to work extra hard to fulfill our potential. Once more thank you guys
