Important Message for Students
We are currently supporting 55 students at UZ and NUST throughout their medical studies (from Year 3 onwards). We will only be considering exceptional cases of hardship for new scholarships for the academic year 2022-3.
If you are facing exceptional hardship and are in Year 3 or beyond, please ensure you submit an application form and a stamped letter of recommendation from your supervisor.

DOCTORS OF TOMORROW IN ZIMBABWE

At DOTZ, we’re raising funds to help medical students in Zimbabwe reach their potential.

WHAT WE DO

DOTZ was founded by a group of friends in 2016. Our mission is to help struggling Zimbabwean medical students reach their potential by assisting with their tuition fees. We support students who are already enrolled in medical school, but who find themselves in financial difficulties.

ABOUT US

DOTZ is a UK Registered Charity (Registered Charity Number 1179019). It is entirely run by our trustees. We have almost no administrative costs, meaning that every pound donated goes directly to helping struggling Zimbabwean medical students.

PROCESS

We work closely with the administration of the University of Zimbabwe Medical School in Harare. Together we identify students in need of financial support.

CRITERIA FOR SUPPORT

We support medical students in their third year or beyond who find themselves unable to continue with their studies.

EFFICIENCY

We are committed to running a lean operation. We have no paid staff, so that all the money we raise goes towards helping the neediest students.
