Important Message for Students
We have supported 108 students at UZ and NUST throughout their medical studies (from Year 3 onwards). Due to hugely increased fees we are now supporting 6 UZ students and 4 NUST students. We will only be considering exceptional cases of hardship for new scholarships for the academic year 2025-6.
If you are facing exceptional hardship and are in Year 4 or beyond, please ensure you submit an application form and a stamped letter of recommendation from your supervisor.

At DOTZ, we’re raising funds to help medical students in Zimbabwe reach their potential.
ABOUT US
DOTZ is a UK Registered Charity (Registered Charity Number 1179019). It is entirely run by our trustees. We have almost no administrative costs, meaning that every pound donated goes directly to helping struggling Zimbabwean medical students.
PROCESS
We work closely with the administration of the University of Zimbabwe Medical School in Harare. Together we identify students in need of financial support.
CRITERIA FOR SUPPORT
We support medical students in their third year or beyond who find themselves unable to continue with their studies.
EFFICIENCY
We are committed to running a lean operation. We have no paid staff, so that all the money we raise goes towards helping the neediest students.
